01 · The thesis
The Lab was born out of Singapore's Advanced Digital Science Center, where its founding team spent a decade building smart-city infrastructure. Its thesis: when roughly a third of European operating cost is regulatory compliance, the investor who reads regulation earliest holds the advantage. The Lab works across five pillars: AI infrastructure, water, biotech, defence and space — one discipline, read into each domain early enough to invest on it, not just report on it.

The Lab's flagship is Clearance — the decision-intelligence system built here and deployed first through the R3i DealDesk. Each platform below is the same discipline re-pointed at a different domain — the instruments the Lab reads with, and the companies they become. When a decision surface finds its own market, it leaves as a platform spinout: the studio pattern, proven in-house first.
